icon Dita Von Teese was in town from March 5-11 to launch her new Von Follies lingerie range for Target and appear at LMFF for the very first time in an exciting world first!
The Von Follies by Dita Von Teese show was a highlight of the LMFF 2012 calendar with Dita herself sauntering down the runway to open/close the show and models of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities showcasing key looks from the range.
In a true celebration of beauty, fantasy and old hollywood glamour, the Von Follies parade featured a variety of props from Dita’s personal wardrobe including seamed stockings, hats, veils, eye masks by Laura Kranitz, gloves, lace and sequin capelets as well as shoes by her friend Christian Louboutin, of course! The icing on the cake was a killer music mix made by Dita herself including some of her favorite big band songs and original music from her burlesque shows.
The Von Follies parade was a resounding hit with both media and fans alike, we all agree it was an amazing event to be part of!
