We are SO excited to be working with our newest client, the Australian Polo Council!

The Aussie team has been keeping busy competing in global and local events — most recently in Asia’s first ever Snow Polo World Cup (pictured). This event attracted 12 teams from around the world, vying to take out the World Championship at Tianjin Metropolitan Polo Club, China, from Feb 2–12. Well done to the Australian Polo Team for making it to the quarterfinals.

We can’t wait to see the next Polo comp on local soil!

Sydney’s much-loved annual event, Mazda Opera in the Domain, attracted a stellar selection of celebrities and A-listers along with thousands of picnickers on Saturday 28^th January 2012.

Actors, presenters and theatre stars shone as they walked the red carpet to the opulent Mazda VIP Marquee for pre-performance refreshments before Opera Australia presented Bizet’s The Pearlfishers — a passionate tale of love, lust and jealousy set in ancient Ceylon.

Jamie’s Ministry of Food Australia’s first-ever mobile kitchen is now officially on the road!

Jamie Oliver’s philosophy of fresh produce and cooking from scratch underlies this initiative, which is part of a broader Ministry of Food campaign to inspire people to get back into the kitchen. The mobile classroom will travel throughout metro and regional Queensland teaching people better cooking skills.

Style, colour and glamour were the cornerstones of the inaugural fruche marquee, hosted at Flemington’s Birdcage by style icon and fruche Ambassador, J.Alexander.

The stunning fruche facility hosted vibrant local and international celebrities, fashion designers, personalities and competition winners across all four race days — AAMI Victoria Derby, Emirates Melbourne Cup, Crown Oaks and the Emirates Stakes. Guests enjoyed an array of fruche-inspired treats.

All up, Style Counsel generated over $5.5 million dollars worth of PR surrounding the fruche marquee and J.Alexander’s second media tour.

International burlesque star and fashion icon, Dita Von Teese, captivated racegoers on AAMI Derby Day as a special guest at the coveted Lavazza marquee in Flemington’s Birdcage.

Dita’s short trip to Melbourne was part of a whirlwind promotional tour to launch her new dress range Muse by Dita Von Teese, which will be available in David Jones stores nationally from February 2012.

Style Counsel generated an unprecedented level of local and international coverage surrounding Dita’s visit to Australia across TV, radio, print and online media outlets.

Peak hour commuters were halted in their tracks at Flinders St Station when eight covert dancers busted out from the crowd, followed by J.Alexander.

As DJ Jean pumped the music, the dancers weaved through the crowd and J.Alexander began a roll call of the top names in Australian fashion: Akira Isogowa, Easton Pearson, Aurelio Costarella, Kirrily Johnston, Megan Park, Lisa Ho, White Suede, Life With Bird, Alpha60, Dhini, Arnsdorf, Tallulah, Joveeba, Limedrop, S!X, Vixen and Material By Product.

On cue, 17 beautifully styled models emerged showcasing the Spring/Summer collections from each design house.

What better way to welcome the first day of spring!

Style Counsel achieved in excess of $5 million worth of editorial coverage surrounding this event and J.Alexander’s September media tour.

The 2011 BMW Caulfield Cup Carnival was alive with glitz, glamour and first class racing.

Kicking Melbourne’s spring racing carnival off in true style, the Gala Launch heralded the beginning of the most successful carnival yet!

Fashion and Social Ambassador Giaan Rooney and the Face of Caulfield Bree Laughlin kept us well informed and entertained, while hundreds of fashion fiends competed in the Chadstone Fashion Stakes.

The Age Caulfield Guineas Day attracted record crowds — with the race of the year (Black Caviar’s first race of the season, the Schillaci Stakes), and a live performance by Sneaky Sound System, it’s not surprising.

Schweppes Thousand Guineas Day’s Trackside Fashion Luncheon served a dose fashion and fun, featuring the Caulfield Classic Style Award and on BMW Caulfield Cup Day Melbourne’s A-listers mingled and the BMW Caulfield Cup kept us all in suspense.

On behalf of Melbourne Racing Club, Style Counsel generated over $14 million in media coverage in the lead up to and throughout the BMW Caulfield Cup Carnival.

International burlesque star Dita Von Teese has signed a fabulous global deal with Australian brand powerhouse, lime door brands, which will see the fashion icon launch her very own range of lingerie onto the Australian market in 2011. The collection will offer a touch of glamour to women of all sizes and shapes. Plans are already underway to expand the product offering to include a range of dresses. The pieces are all co-designed by the Queen of Burlesque herself and will bring Dita’s unique brand of glamour and fashion magic to women across the world.
