Education is a strong focus for Youth Projects, due to the close links between education, employment and wellbeing. For many of the disadvantaged young people we help, improving their education and skills is the key to getting their lives back on track.

Youth Projects operates many of its programs in the north of Melbourne – an area with the highest youth unemployment rate in the country (54 per cent).

We start at about 8.30am with meetings and cover off what we’re going to be focusing on with training for the day. Sometimes that means a presentation on what we need to work on to beat the opponent, which will transfer into what we’re doing in the session. Read more
